Searching the Bookfinder

The Bookfinder is a database of thousands of living and CM-friendly books that have been reviewed and recommended by the Simply Charlotte Mason team, plus other titles that have been added by CM Organizer subscribers.

Searching

To search the Bookfinder, type a keyword (subject, book title, or author) into the search box and click Search. For more advanced searches, click More Search Options to filter by grade level, time period, and geographical setting.

You can also click any of the tags on the Bookfinder tab to see all the resources that have that tag.

Browsing Search Results

The search results screen has some useful features to help you find what the book you want.

Sorting

You can sort the search results by

• relevance, to see the results that best fit your keywords;
• title, to see results alphabetically by title;
• author, to see results alphabetically by author name;
• SCM recommended, to see results the Simply Charlotte Mason team recommends at the top.

Simply Charlotte Mason Recommendations

All resources that have been reviewed and are recommended by the Simply Charlotte Mason team are marked with an [SCM] badge. Resources that do not show this badge were added by other CM Organizer subscribers. Of course, you should always do your own evaluation of any resource to determine if it will be the right choice for your family.
