How to create reports
The Reports section of the CM Organizer allows you to easily create reports that show all the work you've done.

Progress Report
A Progress Report displays the work you've completed.
You can customize your report to show the work you want to see:
- Student lets you choose to show work for all students or just one. Check Include family work to include the work recorded for the Family student.
- Sort by allows you to choose which order the assignments will be shown: subject, student, or date.
- Dates lets you pick what time period you want to see. Choose from quick presets like This School Year and Last Month, or pick Fixed Range to enter your own date range.
- Subjects lets you show either All Subjects or Selected Subjects. Use this to show only certain subjects on your report.
Note: Free accounts are limited to creating Progress Reports for the past month.
Report Types
There are two types of Progress Report: Summary or Detailed.
Summary Report
A summary report shows only the work that has been marked as Finished. It's a quick, condensed report, great for getting an overview of what you've accomplished.
Detailed Report
The detailed report shows work marked Finished and Worked On. It also details every assignment in an expanded report, good for showing everything you got done.
Attendance Report
Note: Free accounts are not able to create Attendance Reports.
The Attendance Report helps you keep track of how many days you’ve recorded work for each student. It provides an easy way to generate attendance records, which may be required for filing reports with your state or district.
Customize the Attendance Report with these settings:
- Student lets you choose to show attendance for one or all students.
- Year lets you choose the school year for which to show attendance.
- Include days with family work will include work recorded for the Family student for each individual student.
- Include days with daily notes will include days that you recorded a daily note for each individual student, even if that student has no assignments recorded for that day.
Bibliography Report
Note: Free accounts are not able to create Bibliography Reports.
The Bibliography Report lists all the books and resources you’ve used or plan to use. It’s useful for creating a record of your curriculum or a report of your planned school year, which may be required to file with your state or district.
Customize the Bibliography Report with these settings:
- Student lets you choose to show resources used by one or all students.
- Year lets you choose the school year to use to create your report.
- Sort by lets you sort the report by subject or student.
- Include family resources will include resources scheduled for the Family student.
- Include resources scheduled for future use will also include all resources scheduled but not completed—this is useful for when you need to submit a plan to your state or district listing all the books you plan to use.
Printing Your Reports
Once you have created a report, you can print it for your offline records with the Print link at the top of the report.
